It is one of the Indian IT services multinational that had the strongest and quickest growth in the industry, thanks to the innovative approach he describes in his book Employees First (published in French by Diateino). HCLT is renowned in the entire world for its innovative management practices. Vineet is still a member of its board. In March 2011, Vineet Nayar won the prestigious "Leader in the Digital Age Award" at the CeBIT, one of the major High tech events in Europe.
