Peter F. Drucker is recognized in the entire world as one of the pioneers of management theory. He was an author, a teacher and a consultant in political strategies for companies and organizations working on the social field. He worked with large groups such as General Electric and his management theories inspired almost all the applications in this discipline. He wrote 39 books and a lot of articles. For a long time, he had a section in the Wall Street Journal and he worked with The Harvard Business Review. As a consultant, Peter Drucker specialized on how the highest levels of management work and get organized. Later on, Peter Drucker focused his energy on nonprofit organizations: universities, hospitals, churches.

Frances Hesselbein is the president and the founder of the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute, formerly Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management. She was the CEO of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America and she was awarded the "Medal of Freedom" by Bill Clinton himself. She wrote The Journey and Lessons Learned Along the Way and More Hesselbein on Leadership¸ she co-wrote several books as Be, Know, Do and she is chief editor of the magazine Leader to Leader.
